I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit more about myself. 

My name is Tansy and I grew up here in this beautiful area. After leaving Lady Manners I studied at Chesterfield College.

For the last 15 years, I have been working in Bakewell developing my skills and specialities and most importantly making some wonderful friends with my loyal clients. 

The most important part of my job is making my clients feel relaxed, happy and comfortable   I’ve worked hard to be able to open my own Salon so that I can create the perfect setting to ensure that my clients are always in a comfortable, friendly environment getting the most from their treatments. 

I am thrilled to say that over the last 12 months I have built up Tansy Hair and beauty as the Salon Owner. With the help of an amazing team, we have now got specialists in lots of different areas. I welcome experts from different specialties to come and offer their services here in the comfort of the salon. 

The team and I pride myself In keeping on top of current trends and techniques so that we can continue to be at the top of our game. We use only the finest, trusted brands so that you know when you come here, you’re in the safest hands. 

As well as my 13 years as a beauty therapist I have also trained in Wedding hair and make up and have worked with 100’s of bridal parties, getting ready for their big day. This part of my job takes me all over the Peak District to some amazing venues. 

I’m also very keen in supporting trainees and have been thrilled to offer trainees work experience to help them get a feel for what life in the salon is like. It’s a real pleasure to give an insight to future colleagues and I’m so proud we offer a place which allows people to develop.
